We've developed a suite of research and evaluation tools to help you evolve in the ever-changing circumstances during COVID-19.

COVID-19 Recovery Strategy Survey for Government (Stage 2)

As part of our ongoing work during COVID-19, we are inviting government and funders to share their current thinking, strategies, knowledge, and experiences regarding support for cultural activity in their communities.

Over the past few months, we have seen governments responding to the needs of their community and the cultural sector. As you rethink your engagement strategies, this is an opportunity to share how you are adapting to uncertainty. Your feedback will contribute to our complimentary Recovery Report: highlight government responses; share the measures government is taking to adapt; provide inspiring forward-thinking strategy and ideas.

COVID-19 Recovery Survey for Organisations and Creative Practitioners (Stage 2)

As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, many organisations have begun strategising for their post-pandemic recovery. In the second stage of our research, we’re exploring what the recovery phase might look like for cultural organisations and what support is required to help the sector get through it. While there are many COVID-19 impact surveys in distribution, this study aims to capture responses from a broad range of organisations and practitioners working in the cultural space and provides the opportunity to derive aggregate and comparative insights from the findings.

COVID-19 Recovery Strategy Plans

Are you a funder of the cultural community? We've created tailored packages designed to help you understand the impact of COVID-19 for the cultural sector and ways you can support its recovery. The packages include:

✔️  Expertly curated research questions to help you collect benchmarkable creative sector data

✔️  Evidence-based strategy reporting to help you plan your recovery

✔️  Comprehensive plan to help you monitor the success of your strategy

COVID-19 Audience Perception Survey

With the gradual easing of social distancing restrictions - will you be able to open your doors again? And what does your audience think? Our Audience Perception survey is designed to help organisations understand the concerns of their audience in the journey to recovery. For those interested in the perception of UK audiences - Culture Counts conducted a statistical analysis for Indigo's After the Interval survey - read the report here.

COVID-19 Impact on the Cultural Industries (Stage 1)

On 8 April 2020, Culture Counts launched its research initiative regarding the impact of COVID-19 on the cultural industries. We invited organisations and practitioners to tell their story collecting survey responses from those who work in the arts and culture, education, government, health and community, library, placemaking and sports industries.
